Fixed repeated videos in “related videos”

We’ve fixed a problem that caused duplicate videos in the “related videos” section of the playlist page.

Bookmark with Delicious, Digg, Facebook, Reddit and StumbleUpon

You can now bookmark playlists with 5 of the most popular bookmark sites.  Let us know if there are any others that you’d like to use!

Now embed playlists on blogs, profiles and webpages

We’ve added a feature now on the playlist page that generates HTML code to allow you to embed playlists in other places - such as blogs, websites and profile pages. Click on the “Embed playlist” link at the top right.

You can generate code to add the name of the playlist:

Royksopp

or a play button:

You have the choice of opening a new window to play the playlist or launching the standalone player. To launch the standalone player uses Javascript, which is stripped out from some blogs and profiles - please use the other option if this doesn’t work.

Enjoy :)

Feedback form

We’ve added a feedback form to allow you to send us your comments/suggestions etc.  Please click on the “feedback” link in the footer bar. When sending us feedback, you can specify if you expect a reply - if you do then we will get back to you as soon as we can.

We’d love to know what features you want on veewow - so please send us your wish list and we will try to add as much as we can!

Brilliant new homepage!

At last the new homepage is live! This great new page now gives you loads more ways to browse the videos and playlists on veewow. You can see the most watched playlists and videos (top playlists and videos), as well as the most recently added playlists.

We hope you like the new page - as always, please let us know what you think!

More streamlined “add to playlist”

We’ve been working on improving the add to playlist feature. You can now add any video you are watching to a playlist - even if you aren’t logged in.

Better search for small words

The search has been improved so you can now search for videos using short words. Until now, search terms of less than 4 letters where ignored. For example the search “amy” would not have returned any results - now “amy” correctly returns all matching videos.

Create a playlist straight from the home page

We’ve added a new feature that allows you to create a playlist before you log in. Click on the “Create a playlist now” link on the home page to go straight to the edit playlist page. There you can add videos to your playlist either by embedding from YouTube or searching for videos already on Veewow.

This new feature makes it so quick to create playlists - if you have an idea for a playlist you can jump straight into building one - before you forget which videos you want to add!
